Welcome...

My name is Tony Rathburn.  I've been dancing tango since October of 2006... and loving it!  I'm fortunate that I get to travel quite a bit for work... and tango has been an active part of my non-work time during those travels.

iDanceTango is my personal study guide and reference notebook. For those of you who have visited it before... it is in the midst of a major overhaul.  I'm using this site for my personal study of tango.  It includes festivals that I've found... and, of course, tango and travel resources for a number of cities.  I'm also beginning to include selected music and videos that I'm familiarizing myself with... as well as documenting orchestras and singers who are important to the history of tango.

iDanceTango is not intended to be a commercial site in any way.  I do computer work professionally.  It simply seems natural to use this format to record my studies.  Obviously... it is a perpetual work in progress.  If you find it a useful reference for your own studes... please feel free to browse.  If you would like to suggest additional resources in any of the topic areas, please feel free to use the Contact page to point me to those.
